A hybrid structure combining pressurised steel (a thermal/structural stabilisation process patented by STEP that gives the structure properties similar to granite, resonance damping and low thermal expansion) and cast iron.
The fixed gantry design ensures an extremely balanced distribution of moving masses across the three Cartesian axes, a prerequisite for achieving dynamic performance and precision of the highest standard, evident both in the machining of complex surfaces and in the production of general mechanical components.
Tool magazine integrated into the machine structure, separate from and protected from the work area, available in Random or Pick-up versions.
Water-cooled electric spindle available in 4 versions: 10,000 – 18,000 – 26,000 – 40,000 rpm for ISO-40, HSK-E32, HSK-E40 and HSK-A63 tools.
Easy access to the work area from both the front door and the wide side opening, together with the table surface at 90 cm above the floor, facilitate all operations on the machine.
The machining compartment is specifically designed for easy cleaning; indeed, it has no steps or protrusions that typically act as a nuisance for chip accumulation.
The minimal centralised air/oil lubrication system, with collection trays, or grease lubrication, drastically reduces the presence of oil in the coolant circuit.
The type of structure used and our company’s flexibility allow us, where necessary, to customise the machine to the customer’s specific requirements.
