The innovative servo-extruder system developed by Step makes it extremely easy to adjust moulding parameters for all materials, whilst the simple and intuitive graphical interface ensures that even less experienced operators can use it with ease.

Its exceptional versatility makes the E-POWER E2400 unique in its class and particularly well-suited not only to the moulding of cross-linked EVA in the footwear industry, but also to the moulding of all thermoplastic and vulcanised materials across a wide range of manufacturing sectors.

The use of servo-extruders in all the machine’s drive systems ensures a high degree of moulding repeatability, which has a significant impact on both moulding quality and the reduction of waste to near-zero levels.

Thanks to the synergy between the servo motors and STEP’s innovative, patented closing system, the E-POWER E2400 is able to reduce electricity consumption by 65% compared to traditional hydraulic presses.

Moulding times for cross-linked EVA have been reduced by 50% thanks to the new BOOSTER technology developed by STEP, a highly innovative technology capable of accelerating the EVA cross-linking process, thereby imparting superior technical properties to the material itself.

In addition to increased grip and a lower specific weight of the finished product, E-POWER E2400 ensures superior quality thanks to the absence of bubbles and micro-bubbles within the moulded product.

E-POWER is designed to make the most of the benefits of a modular system.

Its extremely compact design requires no side access, meaning it can be placed side-by-side with other E-POWER presses, significantly reducing the space required whilst maintaining the same production capacity.

The E-POWER project has led to the development of innovative calculation algorithms capable of automatically determining the amount of material to be injected into the mould cavity.

Thanks to this feature, there is no need to change the moulding parameters when switching mould sizes.
